which ones do you like, or dislike.

Post 2 by lasota678 (Account disabled) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 11:16:35

I like the preppy girl accent the best. I find it cute. I also like like any type of foreign accent such as EUropean, Spanish, or England. The British accent is cool. Now the accents I dislike are the ghetto accents if you know what I mean, also the redneck country accent. That type of accent jsut gets on my nerves after a while.

Post 3 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 11:24:51

uggggggg preppy?

Post 4 by lasota678 (Account disabled) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 11:41:04

Yes preppy. Preppy girls are cute. And they're accents are adorrible.

Post 5 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 11:42:36

Post 6 by lasota678 (Account disabled) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 12:00:44

True dat true dat.

Post 7 by Blondie McConfusion (Blah Blah Blah) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 12:59:32

i'm amused. you don't like a ghetto accent yet you say true dat.

I like a few of the english accents, since there are many different ones. and i like strange accents that come from mixing different ones together.

Post 8 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 14:01:41

well pipi some english accents are hot lol

Post 9 by lasota678 (Account disabled) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 14:57:36

British and englsih are hott. And some of the ghetto slang language and accents are cool but yeah.

Post 10 by AsianSensation (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 17:56:56

I'm not into extremes. I think almost every accent is ok so long as it's not overdone. That said, I'm not exactly into a lot of the regional New York accents, but that's probably because of where I'm from.

Post 11 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 18:02:50

i usually don't like the new york one, but i've liked a few

Post 12 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 20:14:13

Post 16 by CSection (Out standing in my field.) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 20:55:54

Why do people insist on posting these ridiculous boards? It may start out as a conversation that everyone can have an oppinion on, and then it just turns into a huge towel, and all the special drooling people use it to wipe there saliva soaked chins on.

Post 17 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 20:57:26

it's not stupid just an opinion if you don't like it then don't read.

Post 18 by CSection (Out standing in my field.) on Saturday, 07-Mar-2009 21:02:43

Ah yes, oppinions, I believe I just gave mine,. That really wasn't a very well thought out reply was it?

Post 28 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 11:08:14

Hmmm! Oo! gosh! Well, I love the Yorkshire accent from the UK. My boyfriend and his family have lived all their lives in the north Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire area, so I hear this wonderful accent with all its funny little ways and phrases they come out with as well, more or less every day either on Skype or when I go to visit, which will hopefully, be the week after next if all goes to plan, lol. I love the Irish accent, the East london accent and the Liverpudlian accent (liverpool) also from the UK and O my gosh, I forgot, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire accent. I myself spent so many years at School up there, that I'm now losing my afore-mentioned East London accent and sounding more and more like I grew up in Worcestershire, which indeed I did not, lol. I like the Geordie accent, just another accent from Northern England, lol. One of my friends mums hales from South Shields and had probably the strongest Geordie accent I've ever heard in my life, but she's kind of losing it now, having spent so many years down south in the home counties (/Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Berkshire.) and that's just a small sample of the accents here in Great Britain, lol. As for others, I like Jamaican, Africans, Southern American, Russian, Polish, German, French and Spanish. Too much detail to go in to in this post though.

Post 29 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Tuesday, 10-Mar-2009 13:13:56

i like irish and wales too mmmmmmmmm rofl

Post 30 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 13-Mar-2009 19:53:40

Post 32 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Saturday, 14-Mar-2009 12:04:48

Post 33 by Mumbledore (... procrastinating again. i meant to write this days ago.) on Sunday, 15-Mar-2009 4:06:27

why is this board still going? as cam said, it started as a good conversational topic, perhaps. however now it's just become another of those boards where keri and liz post pointlessly and just agree with what the other is saying.

why?

dan.

Post 34 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 15-Mar-2009 19:33:58

Dan, apart from now, i haven't posted since Monday, and i've had my say on this accent topic. so i don't kno why you braught my name into this.

Post 35 by Skyla (move over school!) on Monday, 16-Mar-2009 0:50:30

what exactly is a "preppy" accent? can you show me a clip of what one sounds like?

Post 36 by Perestroika (Her Swissness) on Monday, 16-Mar-2009 3:14:36

Welsh, Cornish, West country accents are my absolute favourite.

Post 37 by Thunderstorm (HotIndian!) on Monday, 16-Mar-2009 5:07:13

Post 44 by Siriusly Severus (The ESTJ 1w9 3w4 6w7 The Taskmaste) on Sunday, 07-Jun-2009 5:44:53

I just about hate and can not stand the the prep, valley girl, gangster, or the uneducated kinds of accents or dialects but I don't mind the foreign ones at all.

Post 45 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Wednesday, 04-Nov-2009 19:37:32

lmao i forgot that i posted this board so bringing it back for old sake lol.

Post 46 by Elenhiia (Feather'rr'rr'rr'rr'rr'rr'rr'rr'rr'rr for president!) on Thursday, 05-Nov-2009 18:00:41

Accents:
Dislike: New York, Jersey, that sort of shit irritates me, ghetto, southern, iiiwwww. Noooo.
Now foreign ones. I like lots of English accents but I get them all confused. I like the Australian, Irish, and South African accents as well. And some of the accent mixtures are interesting. lol And lots more, I just don't remember. I'd know if I heard them. blah done now.

Post 47 by Binary solo (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Sunday, 22-Nov-2009 19:02:38

Southern europian does the trick

Post 48 by The Straight Edge Superstar (Please, allow me to once again explain why you are wrong.) on Sunday, 22-Nov-2009 19:12:27

I dig a few of the English accents. Doesn't matter though, they're all all right I guess.
Latin accents are okay if they're not too heavy. Then it's just like ugh.

Post 49 by Miss Prism (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Thursday, 26-Nov-2009 21:37:36

Geordie! Yum! West country, same.

For the U.S. south Maine, Mass--although Mass has more than one, and I don't know what the one I like is called. Pretty much anything northeastern is music to my ear, and anything southern (which is where I live) is grating and ugly. LOL

Post 50 by CrazedMidget (Sweet fantacy's really do come in small packages!) on Saturday, 28-Nov-2009 13:57:33

I like the spanish accents
I also think Australian accents are hot, and same with Asian ones.

Post 51 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Monday, 07-Dec-2009 11:52:38

Post 54 by starfly (99956) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 14:52:31

Hmm I like my accent!! :) :) lol

Post 55 by AgateRain (Believe it or not, everything on me and about me is real!) on Thursday, 09-Sep-2010 17:28:43

Southern and English, Italian and those sorts of accents is what turn me on...

Post 56 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 10-Sep-2010 15:53:18

I can deal with any accent if I can understand what's being said. If not, there are voice & diction classes, ESL when that applies. Years ago a woman with a doctoral degree in linguistics told me the vocal cords are fixed around the age of 8, so a regional or foreign accent would require 24/7 practice to eliminate. I don't expect that if the person speaks comprehensibly.

Post 57 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 11-Sep-2010 0:27:37

A girl with an English, Australian or Kiwi (New Zealand) accent really does the trick for me LOL. So does a Scottish brogue as long as I can understand what they're trying to say. I think my absolute favorite though is the Irish accent. Evanna Lynch from the Harry Potter movies sounds sooo hot...

Post 58 by redgirl34 (Scottish) on Saturday, 11-Sep-2010 7:51:56

hat I don't like s slang especially in the West of Scotland. I like the asians accents to.
